Dr. Johnson and the Family Dental Care staff in Erie, PA provide your family with cosmetic, and restorative dentistry services. Less than three years ago, we underwent a complete tech-driven renovation, now giving care with the most technically driven tools and providing you with the best dental care in the area. Our services include routine cleanings, dental crowns and bridges, extractions, teeth whitening, root canals, restorations, and more. Our staff is highly experienced and will work to make patients feel welcome and at ease. We will get to know your wants and needs so you can improve and maintain excellent oral health.
NICOLE STACHEWICZ JOHNSON D.M.D
Dr. Nicole Stachewicz Johnson is a lifelong Erie resident. However she left for a period to pursue her education in dentistry. She is an alumnus of Iroquois High School and a graduate of Allegheny College, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and won the award for Clinical Excellence. After her education, she returned home to Erie to practice dentistry in her hometown.
Dr. Johnson is a member and has been actively involved in the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Erie County Dental Association. She has been the Erie County Dental Association Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, and President. She has served on the Council on Membership for the PDA and the ADA for several years. In 2013, she was given the honor of being inducted into the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, two cats and miniature potbellied pig.
Christine is extremely knowledgeable about dental insurances and payment options. She is available to assist you with explaining the financial aspect of treatment to ensure that you understand and are comfortable with your dental experience in our office. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. She has been the office manager at Family Dental Care since 2009.
Melissa is a graduate of Iroquois High School and Tri-State Business Institute of Technology. She began her dental career as an assistant and went on to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with Family Dental Care since 2010. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about periodontal health.
Amanda graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology in 2014 from the Dental Assisting Program and is radiology certified. She began her career at Family Dental Care in September of 2015. Amanda has a special interest in esthetic CAD CAM cases that transform smiles in one day. She enjoys making people smile and laugh and making them feel comfortable during their dental appointments.
Becca is a 2015 graduate of Great Lakes Institute of Technology, in the Dental Assisting Program. She started with FDC soon after. After taking a brief hiatus to have a child she came back part-time in 2020 to assist the front office, answering calls, scheduling patients and working on insurance claims.
Becca is an avid book reader and loves spending time with her husband and son.
Carley graduated from McDowell High School in 2015. She studied at Fortis Institute receiving Certification in Dental Assisting and Radiology, graduating in 2018. She comes to FDC with several years of experience working in the administrative side of dentistry. She can assist you in scheduling your appointments, and can answer most insurance questions.
